Bob Fishing Lake Powell 9-15-12 at the Cleaning Station

Fly Fishing Stripers on Lake Powell this week and coming 8 weeks will be “excellent”.  Scouting for fish is a must and that’s the “Guides Advantage being there on the water alot.  Strings are staying close to bait fish in most canyons and birds and animals will point to the area.  They are all around right now.  Graphing is esssential and so is patience.  Once you locate, use a sinking line 150-00 grain with a 3′ clauser and that will do the trick.  For a recent video on this go to our Gallery and view Denny Fly Fishing last week: http://www.ambassadorguides.com/gallery/fishing-videos/

Tight Lines,
