Lake Powell Update 3-23-2020

Lake Powell update:

Lake Powell is open with the cut even open at 20′. It is wide open space out on Lake Powell and a great way to to be out in the “fresh air” . Many people are calling to see if we are open and yes we are. We do not have large groups on our boats. Maximum 5 including Captain (we normally can do 7 but taking great precaution). Hand sanitizer of course and boat is cleaned after any trip thoroughly.

Most hotels “ARE” open and offering great rates right now and they are following CDC guidelines and cleaning a room and leaving for 24 hours after someone has checked out. Many Air BNB’s, Bed & Breakfast and Lake Powell Campground on Coppermine Road is open call 938-645-3374as staff is limited and not working all day. Wahweap Campground is closed till April 4th and they will reassess.

We have a complete list of all the places offering “take out” and even delivery.

So many people are off work, kids home, if you can sneak away, drive out to Lake Powell and spend some time on Lake Powell. Also great hiking available as well and Horseshoe Bend is still open.
