Lake Powell Fishing Report November 11, 2018

Lake Powell Fishing Report 11-11-18
Lake Powell Elevation: 3587.88

When the nightly colder winds blow and the days are calm…that’s the best time to “fly fish” for stripers especially if you can hit the water on that 2nd, 3rd, or 4th following day until the next cold front. First day after is the usually very tough so sometimes it a fishing day but not a good catching day.

We have about 3 weeks left for using Castle Rock Cut which get us to our fishing grounds quicker so a half-day trips are doing well. After that, for the Winter we will offer a 6 hour day due to the longer way around Antelope Island to the fishing grounds Are regular rates are adjusted for the extra fuel needed.

Whether we are trolling or fly fishing, Fall & Winter are a great time to bundle up and fish the crystal clear waters of the most scenic lake in the West with “zero crowds”.

Don’t forget, we are still offering our 2018 Rates for 2019 if they are purchased prior to 12-31-18 and can be used anytime available in 2019. Due to the Park Service charging all CUA’S a Market Fee now we and all others will be raising our rates effective January 1, 2019. If you are planning a trip???? Take advantage of the savings! If you have questions, please give us a Call!
