Lake Powell Fishing June 14, 2018 by Capt. Bill

Here are some recent photos of our anglers…thank you for coming and fishing with Ambassador Guides

Lake  Powell Elevation:   3612.02

Lake Powell Fly and top water action is beginning….

For the serious angler there can be rewarding times if they are flexible and experienced Fly Casters  I recommend a 5-6 wt. trout rods are ideal.

If you are fishing with Ambassador Guides we do not furnish fly rods but we do furnish spinning rods.  I recommend 1/2 days for angling with the heat as the fish will go down quickly.

I am recommending 4 hour trips (early) and maximum 2 anglers fly fishing and 4 for conventional.  It’s been a great season so far with all species catching extremely well even some Walleye!

Don’t forget if you are Houseboating???  Schedule a day(s) and let me line you out for your fishing houseboat trip.  I will come and pick you up and provide conventional equipment.  Depending on your location, a fuel surcharge may apply.  Call for more details.  Having a guide will ensure your week is more successful.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Bill
