Lake Powell Fishing 9-14-2020 by Capt. Bill McBurney

Lake Powell Elevation:  3598.09
Water Temp: 74 degrees
Nice Catch Fish 9-12-2020
All species are doing better with the cooler 74′ degree weather vs. th 88′ degree temps this summer.

We are catching fat healthy these past few weeks trolling deep and running X2 bombers. When crossing a submerged school in the holding pattern then we chum and fish anchovies.

The op water bite for bass is early ,light and good till the rising sun hits the water and then concentrate on shaded canyons.

No striper boils not happening but that doesn’t mean it is isn’t! Hit it early and late for large and smallmouth action and maybe a top water striper.
