Lake Powell Elevation: 3542.56 Lake Powell Fly & Conventional Fishing Update Fly fishing and conventional fishing are still going strong at Lake Powell. Water temps are holding in the 60s, keeping the bite zone active. On sunny days, focus on the many islands and sand bars where Stripers and Smallmouth push baitfish up—prime spots to find fish feeding. Your best window has been 10 AM to 3 PM.
