Recommended Equipment

Fly

Waders, jacket, gloves, slicker, camera and polarized sunglasses
Fly rods 2-4 and 5-6 wts.
Leaders for drys and numphing 5x, 6x & 7x tippett
One full medium sink line for change in water & weather conditions
Tie flies: olive or grey small to medium scuds, white wing midge & hump's #18 & #20's. Black beadhead, olive beadhead or brown beadhead Woollys #12. Hoppers, baby tarantulas, royal wuffs #14, #16 and Adams #16 & #18.

Spin

2-4 lb. test line ultra lite
Recommend jigs 1/8 oz. brown, black or olive are most favorite colors
Kastmaster 1/4 oz. (copper or silver) baby down rapalas work well
During spawn season large pink, blood red or yellow glow bugs #10

Lake Powell - Fly Fishing

7-8 wt. rods
Full sink or line or 130 grain sink tip on one rod
Floating line on the other rod (both with 150' backing)

Spin & Bait Cast

Striper - medium action 8-10 lb. test
Small Mouth - medium action ultra light weight 4-6 lb. test
